Does the software make the paintings?
No. Every Clint Atelier painting is made entirely by hand. The tools serve study and teaching.
Why use Kubelka-Munk instead of normal color math?
Screens add light and paint subtracts it. Kubelka-Munk models how pigments absorb and scatter light, so its predictions match real oil mixes much more closely.
