Biography
Clinton Smith started his artistic journey at a very young age. Through pencil and pen drawings, he honed his eye for human anatomy and proportions. Years of digital painting started to evolve his style. In 2014, Oil on Canvas became Clint’s passion and has been the solitary focus for his creative inspirations and study. Learning the processes of the old masters like Singer Sargent and George Inness inspired even further study. Copying the work of Nymphs and Satyr by William-Adolphe Bouguereau gave new depth to future paintings and style. Clint has a Modern Eye for capturing the brooding moodiness of a single moment that evokes emotion and energy through his oil paintings.
